Community-wide engagement of monthly character traits

We work to educate and bring character awareness to our entire community.

Character education is not just about education our schools. While our initial work may have focused on character,  we have grown to include character value initiatives throughout our community.  We identify and promote a key character trait each month throughout the community. The community engages in this promotion through various means (ex. school lessons, social media, website, local media, billboards, council meetings, business/school/church signage; and even business invoices like those from our local Department of Public Utilities) .

The community submits nominations to us of individuals or groups they feel excel at displaying the character trait of the month. Selected individuals/groups are recognized (featuring their story in local media, social media, our website, and in our newsletter).
