 “Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education.” ― Martin Luther King Jr.

“Watch your thoughts, they become words;
watch your words, they become actions;
watch your actions, they become habits;
watch your habits, they become character;
watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.”

                                                     - various, Frank Outlaw

"It's the repetition of affirmations that leads to belief. And once that belief becomes a deep conviction, things begin to happen." - Muhammad Ali

 "Character,  not circumstance,  makes the person."  - Booker T. Washington

"Character is how you treat those who can do nothing for you."

COMMISSIONED WORK

 Barbara Randall Clark has written and published several books for school age children and younger. Two of her books are Jump Start and 12 Character Traits: Community of Character K.i.d.s.

The Jump Start book consists of primary character traits for 4 and 5 year olds, written in English and Spanish. The book is in color and gives the meaning of each character trait in both English and Spanish.

The book 12 Character Traits: Community of Character K.i.d.s. is written in English and includes a special activity for each character trait. Mrs Clark allowed the character program to have copies made, and a copies are given to students in the appropriate age group.

Barbara Randall Clark has been a wonderful ally to the Orangeburg County Community of Character.
